A distinctive part of the Santa Fe art scene, the SFSA shows can be founddowntown just west of the Santa Fe plaza, in the First National 1870Bank parking lot across from the New Mexico Museum of Art. Theseason-long weekend events open in mid-April, extend into mid-October and offer art and personal interactions with artists living and working here. From representational to abstract painters and print-makers, traditional to digital photographers, and bronze to ceramic sculptors, these artists can articulate their journeys, explain their processes and enhance your understanding with intriguingstories and art to create your very personal Santa Fe experience of theart and artists, unique architecture and culture, and inherent creativitythat infuse the high desert of Northern New Mexico.

An opening reception for the exhibit, "Visual Journeys: Three Santa Fe Photographers", will take place on June 1st 5-7 pm at Nocturne 818 Gallery. Nocturne 818 is located at 818 Camino Sierra Vista. The work of Sam Elkind, John Wylie, and Ashton Thornhill will feature diverse techniques and subjects by the trio of lifelong photographers, each of whom exhibited in solo and group shows throughout the United States. The exhibit will be shown June 1st through June 29th. The hours are Wednesday - Thursday 1-5 pm and Friday - Saturday 11-5pm.
