“Chris Durlak Memorial Holiday Bake Sale,” Dec. 7th, noon to 3pm

This season, let the library be your holiday baker! Back by popular demand – and named after our event’s founder, Chris Durlak – the Holiday Bake Sale at Vista Grande Public Library (VGPL) is back, bigger than ever, with delicious, homemade cookies and holiday breads. You can’t beat our prices: $6 for a dozen assorted cookies, $6 for mini-loaves, and $10 for full-size loaves. Join us on Dec. 7th at the library from noon to 3 pm to buy your goodies.

Last year we sold out in record time, so be sure to mark your calendars for this tasty event, brought to you by the volunteers of the library, raising funds to support VGPL, your community library.

As an independent 501(c)3 non-profit, the library is not fully funded as part of a city, county, or state system. With a dedicated staff of just 1.75 fulltime employees and group of volunteers, VGPL serves Southeastern Santa Fe County including the communities of Lamy, Galisteo, Pecos, Eldorado, Sunlit Hills, Rowe, La Paz, Sunlit Hills, Madrid, Glorieta, and Canoncito. Your support of library fundraisers throughout the year—including Book Sales, Trivia Nights, Art Exhibits, Donor Appeals, and the Bake Sale—are greatly appreciated and allow your library offering the high level of service it does to the children and adults of local communities.
