Pope Francis was laid to rest on Saturday after a funeral mass in Saint Peter’s Square.
His tomb is at Saint Mary Major Basilica in Rome, which is known for its history, architecture and works of art.
NPR producer Fatima Al-Kassab was there as the pope mobile arrived.
