Santa Fe City Council Looks Ahead to Wireless Upgrades

This week, Santa Fe's City Council gave the nod to begin the permitting process for five telecommunications companies which have asked to use city rights of way for wireless and broadband service upgrades.  Although the Council's action merely allows the city to consider a application process, a good many Santa Fe residents spoke against wireless communications in general, while city economic development director Matt Brown explains what the process is all about.
