NEWS ASSOCIATE

KSFR 101.1FM, Northern New Mexico’s public radio station, is hiring a News Associate to join its award-winning news team. Must be a team player with great communication skills and news sense. Looking for a self-starter, collaborative and flexible, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced office setting. The News Associate would aid the News Director in daily production of hard-hitting news from around Northern New Mexico during our hourly newscasts and AtNoon news hour. He or she would assist the News Director with management of all aspects of the News Department, including feature assigning, editing, production and promotion, as well as daily podcasting and social media updates.  BA in journalism and proficiency with audio editing software a plus. 30 hours a week.
