A new movie opens in Santa Fe today: the British historical film Suffragette, which stars Meryl Streep, Carey Mulligan and Helena Bonham Carter. The film follows British suffragist Emmeline Pankhurst and her colleagues in the fight for women's voting rights. KSFR's Kate Powell checks in with Suffragette producer Alison Owen about why the century-old story of women's suffrage is important to remember today.
