Plan Dooms Pocket Pest Population

Santa Fe's City Council this week gave the OK for a contract to "control" the population of pocket gophers in several of the city's parks.  Only one Councilor, Signe Lindell, stood up for the little rodents, who are digging their burrows under grassy playing fields, causing a safety and health hazard for park-goers.  KSFR's Ellen Lockyer has the story.
