Governor Martinez Vetoes Bill Raising Salaries For Future N.M. Elected Officials

New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez’s veto-pen ink has begun flowing. The Republican Governor on Wednesday rejected a bill that would have provided raises for statewide elected officials after this year’s elections. Tom Trowbridge spoke with the bill’s sponsor, Democratic Senator John Arthur Smith of Deming.
