If the dangers of climate change weren't obvious enough, a recent paper published by Researchers at Los Alamos National Lab might put those dangers into even more stark perspective. That is, if one believes in scientific research. The paper called "Darcy's law predicts widespread forest mortality under climate warming" was published in Nature Climate Change and gives a grim report on our trees and our very existence. I spoke with co-author Nathan McDowell, of Los Alamos' Earth and Environmental Sciences Division, about his findings.
