When District Court Judge Glenn Ellington released Secretary of State Dianna Duran on her own recognizance last month, pending her next court appearance, he told her to stay out of gambling casinos.  The fraud and embezzlement charges against Duran involving campaign funds show visits to almost every casino in New Mexico over several years.  Duran has pleaded not guilty to each of the dozens of counts, and she hasn’t said she has a gambling problem.  As KSFR’s Deborah Martinez reports, gambling, like other addictions, can ruin lives, but resources are available for those who reach out for help.
