Chelsea Manning passed along hundreds of thousands of military and diplomatic documents and some embarrassing military videos to WikiLeaks and the world.  For doing this, she is presently serving a 35 year sentence in military prison at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.  Recently, she was spared threatened solitary confinement for breaching prison discipline -- by using toothpaste past its sell-by date and failing to write her name on the flyleaf of her books and magazines.  This, she and her attorney Nancy Hollander of Albuquerque, call harassment.  Hollander told KSFR's Dave Marash on HERE AND THERE that Manning also feels hampered in her communications with the world beyond her prison cell.
