June 8 - Drone Expert Max Flight Says Regulating Emerging Technologies A Challenge for FAA

By mid-December, the Federal Aviation Administration, the FAA, is scheduled issue its first set of regulations for the commercial use of drones.  The "regs" are anxiously awaited, even though they will be only a first step, covering just a small part of the potential drone industry.  One of the leading on-line experts on unmanned aerial vehicles, who calls himself "Max Flight," told KSFR's Dave Marash on HERE AND THERE, the FAA is facing a difficult task, trying to make a rulebook for an industry whose basic technologies are changing almost as fast as it potential market is growing.
