Advisory Panel Endorses Redistricting Maps For New Mexico

An advisory panel on political redistricting has advanced three proposals for overhauling district boundaries in New Mexico’s Democrat-dominated House of Representatives, with special deference to Native American communities.

As of last month, there’s officially a challenger for the Second Congressional District of New Mexico.

 

Las Cruces City Councilor Gabe Vasquez has thrown his hat in the ring for the Democratic nomination, that primary election will be held in June of 2022.
