
Kevin Meerschaert

Kevin Meerschaert comes to Santa Fe from Jacksonville, Florida where he spent the past 20 years covering politics, government and pretty much everything else.
He has worked in public radio for most of the past 30 years.
He was previously the Senior Staff Reporter and Executive Producer at WJCT in Jacksonville. He previously worked at public radio stations in Salisbury, Maryland; Evansville, Indiana and Ypsilanti, Michigan.
Kevin is a native of Michigan and is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University with degrees in Political Science and Telecommunications. He has received numerous awards for his reporting skills.
When he’s not bringing you the news you may see him riding his bicycle around town or using his telescope to take a closer look at New Mexico’s dark skies.
