New Mexico ranks among the worst in the nation for cases of domestic violence. Among the difficulties domestic abuse organizations face is determining effective offender treatments, protecting victims and training law enforcement officials on how to identify the main offender in a domestic violence situation. Alicia Chavez works for the New Mexico Coalition against Domestic Violence. She describes in more detail the bills that group is supporting this session. Listen Here
